This hotel is right by the famous Ramblas, in the heart of the city, surrounded by museums, academic and cultural centres, art galleries and the Macba Museum as well as specialist libraries, artistic studios, international music festivals, legendary music shops, restaurants, bars and the exclusive La Boquería market. Barcelona

The Christopher Columbus Statue marks the entrance to the port and the start of Las Ramblas pedestrian area – lined with shops, bars and restaurants where street entertainers keep you entertained. Perhaps visit the famous Sagrada Familia Cathedral which was started in 1882 and is still not complete. Universal's Port Aventura theme Park is situated close by, there is also the Picasso Museum, Gaudi Architecture and the Barcelona FC museum.

After breakfast make your way to the nearby cruise port to embark the ship.

Harmony of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas, launched on 19 June 2015 with delivery in May 2016, is one of the world’s largest cruise ships and a standout member of the Oasis Class, positioned as the third ship in the series after Oasis and Allure of the Seas. With an impressive 226,963 GT, the ship stretches 1,188 feet in length and features 18 total decks, including 16 passenger decks. Harmony typically carries 5,479 guests at double occupancy and up to 6,780 maximum, supported by approximately 2,300 crew. 

As part of Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified programme, Harmony is scheduled for a major refurbishment in April–May 2026, adding new venues, a refreshed pool deck, and an expanded Casino Royale—set to become the largest in the fleet. 

The ship features seven neighbourhoods, a defining Oasis Class hallmark, including Central Park and the Boardwalk. Guests enjoy extensive amenities such as 10+ bars and lounges, 20+ dining venues, and 19 pools, including multiple swimming pools, a kids’ splash zone, and whirlpools. Majorca

Majorca is perfect for a beach stop, a wander around Palma the capital, a visit to the mountains and the monastery of Valldemossa – one time home of Chopin.

Marseille

Marseille is the oldest city and France filled with elegant shops , bars and restaurants. Visit the Church of Notre Dame with its statue of the Virgin Mary or further afield Avignon and Provence.

La Spezia

Approximately 50 minutes from the port (La Spezia) lies the ancient city of Pisa with its famous leaning tower. Then it's on to Florence – a renaissance treasure founded in the 16th century. Visit the main cathedral Il Duomo Di Firenze started in 1296 and completed in 1436, the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio lines with gold and silver merchants.

Rome

In Rome you will be spoilt for choice in this infinitely intriguing city where an unsurpassed vibrancy of life mixes with epic history, tasty cuisine, top class shopping and a joyous nightlife. Peel back layer upon layer history with world class sights such as the Coliseum, The Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain and more. The Pantheon is awe-inspiring dating back to 27 BC and is the only complete structure from the Roman Empire still standing.

The circus maximus once seated 250,000 spectators for chariot races around 11 BC. While the oval shape of Piazza Navona, which houses the magnificent Four River Fountain, is a clue to its Stadium of Domitian heritage from 86 AD were gladiators fought and athletes competed. The Spanish Steps, the home of John Keats, were built in 1723-1725 and are another of those must-see places – a place to sit and people watch artists, poets and painters.The best place to stay is in the centre of Rome close the train terminus which puts you within walking distance of many of the major attractions. Walking is the best option to enable you to unearth some unexpected sights, memorable moments and great photo opportunities.
