MSC Virtuosa

MSC Virtuosa is one of largest ships of the fleet together with her sister ship MSC Grandiosa - both are 16 metres longer than their sister ships of MSC Meraviglia & MSC Bellissima which originally launched this class of ship. MSC Virtuosa gives guests the best experience with its expanding digital offering, spearheaded by MSC for Me and their digital cruise assistant, Zoe.

There are 10 different dining venues to choose from including the large and extensive Marketplace Buffet and three main dining rooms. Specialty restaurants include Butcher’s Cut, Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki, The Sea Pavilion for Asian cuisine, Indochine Vietnamese restaurant, and Hola Tacos and Cantina.

Entertainment centres around the Galleria Virtuosa which has the longest LED Dome at Sea. This indoor promenade features both main and speciality restaurants along with numerous shops. With 1168 sq. m. of retail space this present the largest shopping area at sea on any cruise ship with 11 state-of-the art boutiques and over 250 brands. In the evening, it comes alive with music, parties and entertainment.

La Coruna

La Coruna is the capital of Galicia with lots of scenic and historic interest points. Visit the Tower or Hercules - the world's oldest functioning lighthouse - built by the Romans. Admire the coastal views from Monte San Pedro and have fun in the maze or visit Cabo Finistere (the end of the earth) and the western most point in Europe. Plaza de Maria Pita marks the historic centre of La Coruna featuring interesting architecture just a short walk from the cruise terminal.

Cadiz

Cadiz stands on a peninsula jutting out into a bay and is almost entirely surrounded by water. The Phoencians founded Cadiz as a trading post in 1100 BC and it became a thriving Roman port. It sank into oblivion under the Moors but attained great prominence in the early 16th century as a launching point for the journey to the new world in America. Cadiz was also raided by Sir Francis Drake and managed to withstand a siege by Napoleon's army. Cadiz is situated just 99km away from Seville which is the epicentre of Moorish architecture and history. With UNESCO classing a complex of three buildings in Seville as a World Heritage Site - namely the Cathedral, Alcazar Palace, and Archive of the Indies - it's no wonder that cruisers flock to Seville from Cadiz.

Malaga

In Malaga you can visit nearby Grenada to see the world-famous Alhambra Palace, a masterpiece of Moorish art. Take an excursion to nearby Nerja to see the impressive prehistoric caves or take the kids on the wild rides at Tivoli World theme park.

Alicante

Alicante is a port city on Spain's south eastern Costa Blanca, and the capital of the Alicante province. Its old town, Barrio de la Santa Cruz, has narrow streets, coloured houses and a lively nightlife scene. From here, an elevator or a steep climb leads to medieval Castillo de Santa Bárbara, set on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Mediterranean coast.

Majorca

Majorca is perfect for a beach stop, a wander around Palma the capital, a visit to the mountains and the monastery of Valldemossa – one time home of Chopin.

Marseille

Marseille is the oldest city and France filled with elegant shops , bars and restaurants. Visit the Church of Notre Dame with its statue of the Virgin Mary or further afield Avignon and Provence.
